Color- n, 1) a phenomenon of light or visual perception that enables one to differentiate otherwise identical objects. 2) hue as contrasted with black, white and grey.
You can call it color, hue, pigment, shade or tone. You can use bright, pure, vivid primary or warm, soft, subtle secondary colors. Your color scheme can use harmony or contrast, depending on your mood.
Black is the presence of all color, but actually shows off none. White is the absence of any color, and grey, well.. you get the point.
There are so many incredible colors in the world and hues, tints and shades of those colors, it’s one of the best parts about working in a yarn shop. Now that we are in this season of grey-brown trees, white snow, and evergreens, if we want a brighter daily outlook on life, maybe we just need to add a little more color.
Smile, relax and knit,
Andrea
Lovely.
