Indian Summer

A Bend in the RoadIt’s Fall again in Woodstock, the leaves are gorgeous, there are multiple busses hourly and the number of Canada geese in the flock across from my house increases exponentially on a daily basis.  We have had great weather this fall along with  awesome colors and visual textures which we have done our best to match.

One of our favorite things about Fall is seeing some of the same people who come through town every Indian Summer. Knitters from Maine, Ohio, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Georgia and Bermuda, just to mention a few of the states (and country) that are represented. While we don’t always remember names, we rarely forget a face and we know our friends when we see them.

We learn about different shops around the country, see what others are making and just talk knitting in general, which is, of course, what makes us all happy.

Maybe yours will be one of the friendly faces we see this fall.

Smile, relax and knit.

The first autumn that I’ve missed since 2011. I learned how to knit after attending the Big E, so this time of year has a special place in my heart.
