A Maine House

MAINE HOUSEFor many years my family has been making a pilgrimage to the Maine coast. For probably the last five years, I have been looking wistfully for a house to rent for the summer. One where I could live in part of it, rent out part of it and have a wide front porch for a few summer and a few fall knitting retreats. It must have a balcony on the second or third floor for sunrise coffee and be right on the beach.

This, of course,is all a pipe dream, conversation on sunrise walks.

But a girl can dream and I’ll keep buying those lottery tickets. From sun up to moon rise, it is always awesome here.

Smile, relax and knit,
