In the family farm house we have an old “Regulator” pendulum clock, my Grandfather bought it at auction when the New Lisbon, NY Schoolhouse closed. It reverberated through their fourteen room house and gave me comfort when I was the only one sleeping upstairs. Now it hangs in our family room. Mom and I were knitting quietly, with only the loud tick tock “I certainly don’t want to speed up time,” I said “but your metronome is slowing me down.”
Smile, relax, and knit.
